Washington Commons is a close-knit community in the heart of West Sacramento where neighbors cook meals together, bike the river trail, and build real friendships.

We’re a group of individuals and households who chose something different: to live in a shared, intentional environment that offers privacy and connection.

Our members come from all over (California, New York, India, Romania, Korea) and bring a wide range of interests, values, and experiences. Some work in the arts, some in education, some in civic life. We host potlucks, ride bikes, attend concerts, volunteer, and find joy in spontaneous hallway chats as much as organized events.

Walkable to farmers markets, restaurants, and museums, and just minutes from Amtrak and downtown, we’re rooted in West Sacramento but connected to a broader world.
This isn’t just where we live. It’s how we want to live.
