But you have questions...

About the Workshop

Katie McCamant, our presenter (and our consultant) is a renowned expert on creating vibrant cohousing communities throughout the country and co-author of “Creating Cohousing: Building Sustainable Communities.”  Katie has 30 years experience guiding forming groups through the process of building relationships while building a physical neighborhood. During this 2-day workshop, Katie will lead us through the development process, including  costs, financing timelines, decision-making, risks and benefits. This weekend will be the official beginning of the design process of Washington Commons Cohousing. We will begin to build relationships and shape the values and culture we will live in for many years into the future. Plan on a weekend packed with information, fellowship, and FUN!

From our Sacramento riverside location, we will be able to walk to our site and begin to envision the vibrant, urban, walkable community we will be creating.
